Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

One of my three teams this year has zero bench flexibility because of injuries, and I'm actually considering dropping Joe Mauer because of it. Other possible drop options are Johnny Cueto (though he pitches twice this week against mediocre opponents and has started well this season) or Ervin Santana (on the DL, same as Mauer).
Basically, I'm looking at two things:
1. Other teams have dropped Brian McCann and Ryan Doumit because of their injuries, giving me a shot at a high-end catcher returning from injury later in the season even if I miss out on reclaiming Mauer.
2. My pitching staff could really use another reliever. Looking at Scott Downs while he fills in as the closer in Toronto or even Octavio Dotel just to improve ERA, WHIP and get some Ks on the side.

Agreed. You have no need to make a move at this point.

Keep Mauer...
All of the injuries at catcher this year make your situation much more managable. Be pateint and reap the rewards of keeping Mauer later.
