Was just offered Rich Harden for Brandon Webb/Nick Swisher. I need another SP and am near the bottom in Ks. Any reason not to make this deal?
We get points for quality starts, not wins. Here is my pitching staff:
SP: J. Santana
SP: Cl. Lee
RP: F. Rodriguez
RP: C. Qualls
P: F. Rodney
P: R. Soriano
P: O. Dotel
B: A. Galarraga
B: P. Hughes
B: C. Buccholz
DL: B. Webb

sounds good, however you know you are getting an injury risk....

Whoops, I meant to say Webb/Swisher, not Buccholz. Still a good deal?
And yes I know Harden is an injury risk, but I think that still beats the guy who is ACTUALLY injured, haha. I'm more focused on his production.

I still think it is a good deal.
A month and a half is a long time to go w/o any production from Webb. Go for it. Please help me...

I'd lean toward doing this as well. If you need pitching stats now, you have to take the "injury risk" over the "injured".

Given how long Webb is out I think this is more then you can ask for him.

The season's still very young, but it's getting to the point where it's time to rely less on the pre-season rankings when analyzing a trade and more on what's best for your team now. With that in mind, I'd probably bite.

I would go for it. I rode Swisher for a while, he's gonna be decent but not great this year. I would go ahead with it. What you're gonna get with Harden now will make up for losing Swisher and having Webb on the dl.
