Atkins just Dropped. Use #3 Waiver?

10 teams, H2H:

R H HR RBI SB AVG
W SV K ERA WHIP K/9

C - V. Martinez
1B - K. Youkillis
2B - O. Hudson
3B - M. Scutaro (dropping)
SS - J. Rollins
OF - G. Sizemore
OF - C. Quentin
OF - C. Hart
UT - R. Ibanez
BN - R. Martin
BN - B. Phillips

SP - C. Volstad, AJ Burnett, B. Myers, S. Kazmir, A. Galarraga, W. Rodriguez
RP - M. Capps, R. Franklin
DL - J. Lackey

I'm also debating trading R. Martin and one of my SPs for Peavy or another top starter who's off to a slow start.

Good to do?

I'm leading the league in Runs and HRs, 3rd in Hits and RBIs, third to last in steals, and dead middle in avg.
I'm 3rd in Wins, last in SVs, second to last in Ks and K/9, dead middle in ERA and WHIP

I'd defintely prefer Atkins to Scutaro - but who else is available? I just grabbed Lowell off of waivers who I like betetr this year than Atkins. GA has a big name, but temper your expectations. He won't hit more than 25 HRs, and will probably drive in around 85 without Hilliday in that lineup. I would still pick him up though.

And yes, if you can get Peavy for cheap right now, go for it. His K #s are still very good.

Help?

Lowell's been picked up already. Konerko, Duncan, Loney, Blalock, LaRoche and Teahen on the wire. After a little checking of stats I kind of like Konerko, but not really sure if he's the best move. Loney would be second pick. Any thoughts? Dodgers are #2 in NL I feel, while the WSox are mediocre in the AL.

I like Atkins for Scutaro and Konerko for Orlando Hudson (playing way over his head).

Yea. I think I'm gonna pick up Konerko after midnight and swing Youk to third when I get my weekly moves back. Im trying to ride Hudson out until Phillips can figure out that the season started 3 weeks ago.
