D. Lee Hurt spasms

Any word on his condition? Could he be DLd because of spasms?

god this hurts coming from a huge cubs fan but... i think there are many more and bigger problems to worry about with lee... you can't tell me that spasms are the cause behind him hitting for junk not only this year but hell last year also, you can call me wrong but this is what i think is the deal... ever since that wrist injury Lee hasn't looked like himself at the plate, plain and simple... i personally think coming back from the injury he had a change in his swing to help accommodate for that wrist, and now even with the wrist 'healthy' he has kept that same tweek in his swing and just doesn't look comfortable at the plate... don't get me wrong the days of the 'triple crown year' are FAR FAR gone, but i think Lee can still be a very dependable bat in the real world and in fantasy, but hes changed something up and its still effecting him, and IMO its from the wrist as thats when all this crap started going wrong with him... also its not helping, although i understand and would do the same, but with Lou dropping him in the order you know thats gotta be messing with his psyche also...

"Lee said the neck spasms that forced him from Sunday's game are the result of a bulging disc that occasionally flares up, causing him to miss a week two seasons ago and a few days last season, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. "It doesn't so much hurt as it just locked up on me again," said Lee, who said he hoped for a quick enough turnaround to consider playing Monday night. "I just woke up funny. It's nothing serious."

Recommendation: Lee's day-to-day, and, barring a setback, shouldn't miss too much time. Manager Lou Piniella also said he plans to get Lee back into his usual No. 3 spot in the lineup once Lee warms up at the plate.
