I'm trying to move Pat the Bat for an IF. What would be fair value for him?
I'm thinking a second-tier 1B or 3B would do it... uh... Chris Davis? Garrett Atkins? Joey Votto? James Loney? My league as OBP and BB as stats, so Burrell is more valuable here than in a traditional 5x5 league.
There is a guy in my league who is starting Votto at one of his IF slots, but is also starting Mike Cameron in OF with Jay Bruce at Util. There is another guy who has James Loney on his bench.
My league has two extra IFs, but only 3 OF slots.
My team: Yahoo mixed 12-team H2H league, 9x9 (OBP, BB, SB%, Net Steals) C - Brian McCann 1B - Miguel Cabrera 2B - Robinson Cano SS - Troy Tulowitzki 3B - Evan Longoria IF - Marco Scutaro IF - Edwin Encarnacion Util - Nate McLouth OF - Jacoby Ellsbury OF - Torii Hunter OF - Andre Ethier BN - Pat Burrell
SP - Jake Peavy SP - Felix Hernandez P - Zack Greinke P - John Danks P - Erik Bedard P - Wandy Rodriguez P - Gil Meche P - Joe Saunders P - Paul Maholm RP - Jonathan Broxton RP - Chad Qualls

If theres an owner willing to swap Votto for Burrell DO IT! Have no idea why he'd be on the bench for Cameron, but obviously he isn't too high on Votto, take advantage.
I dont think it is realistic to think you could get any of those 3 for Burrell. Like Howie said you need to set your sights a little lower like Derek Lee.. Even that would be great for you as if it were me I wouldn't trade Lee for Burrell.
Howie wrote:Nope, you ain't getting Votto, Atkins, or Davis for Burrell. You're going to have to shoot lower, try Derrek Lee, etc. Just trying to be realistic.
Agree with this. Loney is a realistic target for Burrell though.
