Wainwright for Morrow?

Postby ajk23az » Sun Apr 26, 2009 4:53 pm

I would give Morrow.

My team is in my profile.

To save time though;

I have 5 closers; Morrow, Brian Wilson, Soria, Ziegler, Valverde

I have some SPs; Haren, Gallardo, Perkins, Cain, Maholm.

Looks good to me, Wainwright is extremely solid.

Good deal for you. 4 solid closers is still fine.

He originally agreed to this deal but now countered with;

Soria for Wainwright.

I told him Soria is untouchable as he is one of the best and countered with;

Morrow & Yunel Escobar/JJ Hardy for Wainwright. (I have Alexie Ramirez at SS right now)

Still good you think?

I think Soria is closer to Wainwright's true value then Morrow. I think his counter was reasonable. I'd take a good starting pitcher over a good closer any day of the week. They help in more categories.

We went back and forth on counters but I finally ended up getting my way :)

I got Wainwright for Morrow.
