OK to drop Derrek Lee? WHIR

Postby Bjorne Greece » Sun Apr 26, 2009 4:01 pm

I was struggling at 1B to start the season and picked up Konerko who has become my #1 first baseman. Of Lee and LaRoche I like LaRoche a bit more for the remainder of the season (slightly lower BA but more HR's based on last year).

I'd like to either pick up more steals (Morgan, Weeks) or some HR's/RBI (Kubel, Branyan) or just a good overall player like Choo

opinions?

Lee has been suckin it up but I still don't like any of those available players over him. Give Lee a couple of weeks at least. Just bench him.

i agree, he's just a little slow. it's not like you'd drop matt holliday right? so stay put. in 2 weeks, if he's up to the same, then drop him.

No DH post? That's odd. I agree, just bench Lee.
