I picked up AJ Pierzynski when Doumit went on the DL but am thinking of dropping him for another option. Some of the available guys are:
Varitek
Saltalamacchia
Suzuki
Flores
Barajas
Hernandez
Hundley

I would definitely go for Hernandez.

Salty is still ranked around the same place as the rest on your list, tbh. Hernandez is the only one on that list who I wouldn't rank in the same place as everyone else on the list. Hernandez is an upgrade on Pierzynski much not a very big upgrade.

Salty has a hot bat right now. I wouldn't sell Suzuki short either especially if you are just buying time for Doumit to return. Suzuki is hitting .320 compared to Hernandez's .235. Salty will probably bring in better power numbers, as will Varitek but if BA is important, Suzuki may be a good choice.
