So far so good, but what are the short term projections for this guys power, speed, and batting avg., now that he has a full time gig filling in for doumit. Supposed to platoon with the other call-up (forgot his name), but so far he has gotten all the starts.

He has certainly surprised me. Maybe he can hold the fort until Doumit returns in 8-10 weeks,
The back up, (Robinson Diaz) got the start today, and came thru with a 2 out, 2 run RBI single. He was probably just getting the start because of a day game after a night game. But be warned he (Diaz) had the better spring training.

I just picked him up in my 16 team league. I'm hoping to ride a hot hand for a couple weeks while Mccann gets his eye problem sorted out. Came here and was surprised to see a thread on him. I'd like to hear anything else Bucs fans have to say about this guy.

I also picked him up to fill in for McCann. I would expect him to be the starter...he looks comfortable at the plate, and solid defensively. Hasn't shown to have much power though.
