David Price or Phil Hughes?

Postby carpediem » Sun Apr 26, 2009 8:20 am

Is anyone out there dropping Price for Hughes? Should I in this standard 5x5 H2H non-keeper league?

Both are highly touted young pitchers. Both have had cups of coffee in the majors. Price was more convincing than Hughes, and he did it in the post-season. But Hughes is here now and Price is not.

BN Elijah Dukes
BN Álex Rodríguez

SP Félix Hernández
SP Randy Johnson
RP Joe Nathan
RP Jonathan Broxton
P Max Scherzer
P Manuel Corpas
P Scott Downs
BN Daisuke Matsuzaka
BN David Price
DL Chris Carpenter

I suppose I could drop Dukes instead of Price. If you suggest this, please do still comment on the Price vs. Hughes question because it is one that I am dealing with in a couple of other leagues.

Many thanks in advance!!

Go Hughes. He will get called up before Price. Hughes has matured a little more.
