Trade Francisco & Holliday for Hunter & Quentin

Postby EZmoney36 » Sat Apr 25, 2009 10:42 pm

My team is doing pretty well. My pitching staff is dominating.
Offensive wise I am average at best, looking to add power numbers. Not really thinking about SBs anymore, I am way down with those, might give up that catagory.
I offered a trade to give up Frank Francisco and Matt Holliday in exchange for Tori Hunter and Carlos Quentin.
Am I giving up too much? Should I go after a bigger name player for those 2 instead of the 2 OFs who are doing pretty well so far?

any help would be appreciated here. I will reply in exchange for some help here, thanks in advance!
my full team is listed in my signature, and this is a holds league, 14 team league.

I think that is a fair trade. Francisco is a decent closer but personally don't like to have any pitcher in a Tex uniform, even the closer. And there were a lot of questions about how Holliday would handle hitting in Oakland. I am not a big fan of Hunter either but I think this deal is good for you.

I think its a legit offer. Quentin may be the best of the bunch in the deal.

It's a good offer. i would do it if i were you. Losing Francisco is no big deal and getting Quentin and Hunter is better than having Holliday.

please help

Pretty good deal. Especially if you have the closers to cover and he needs one.

I would do it...you have other closers and can always poach saves later if you need a few. Hunter will also give you a couple steals over Holliday anyway.
