C- Suzuki 1B - Delgado 2B - Hill SS - J. Reyes 3B - Cantu (has missed some games) OF - Granderson, Lee, Duncan (weakness with the loss of Guerrero) DH - Pedroia Bench - Kubel, Blalock, Atkins, Guerrero, Wieters
Pitching (start 7) SP - Beckett, Cain, Gallaraga, Volquez, A. Reyes, Pelfrey, Lackey (To me, seems like a lot of potential here, but collectively off to a horrific start) RP - Bell, Broxton, Rodney
Aside from my closers, my pitching staff is getting hammered. WHIP is through the roof and ERA took a shot in the arm with Beckett's brilliant outing today and I am second to last in K's. On the hitter side, I am struggling in RBIs, Runs and SBs. I can only hope Reyes comes around and starts helping my SB catagory.
Anyway here is some potential help on the waviers... Lowell - could step in for Cantu Fukudome - OF help? Edwin Jackson Phil Hughes Randy Wolf
Problem is that I have Lackey and Guerrero taking up spots but are injured...Wieters is waiting in the wings, but using up another non contributing roster spot.
Assuming the guys listed above are worth the pickup, who do I drop? I figure Kubel could be let go, but after him do I give up on my current pitchers this early in the season??? Let Atkins and/or Blalock go???? Cut Wieters loose since it doesn't look like he will arrive anytime soon???
Suggestions????
C- Santana 1B - Huff 2B - Wigginton 3B - Longoria SS - Tulowitzki OF - Posednik OF - Suzuki OF - J. Upton DH - Lind Bench: C. Pena, Morneau, Prado, Bay, Barmes SP: Oswalt, Hammels, Nolasco, Weaver, Shields, Lackey, Vargas, Volquez RP: Soriano, Perez
For the most part I think you are ok. Your pitching staff should come around. I would think about picking up Hughes and dropping Reyes. I would hang on to Kubel as your OF is fairly weak right now. Other than that, I think you just need to be patient. It is a long season and last thing you want to do is panic right now.

Thanks for the replies guys...I was leaning towards droping Kubel, now he goes and pops 2 dingers tonight...lol. No thoughts on Lowell? The way he is playing, I figure he may offer a boost to RBIs...then again Cantu put up 3 of those today in the 3B slot. I know it is a long season and I want to be patient, but I hate to fall too far behind and miss my opportunities to improve.

You should add Lowell and drop Blalock.
Don't drop Kubel. Once Mauer comes back (May 1 or earlier) he will be hitting 3rd, Morneau 4th and Kubel 5th. Hitting behind Morneau and Mauer is a HUGE blessing. I am a die hard Twins fan and trust me, Kubel is a stud when he gets the ABs. You'll regret dropping him.
