Hamilton is hurt

Looked in pain on the basepaths, grabbing his ribs. Mouthed that he couldn't breath on the bench...

No official word on anything yet obviously, but he had bruised ribs already and if he hurt something there that could put hiim out a while.

Josh Hamilton left in the fifth inning Saturday after aggravating his bruised ribs.
Hamilton beat out an infield single, but came up holding his left arm tightly against his ribs. He may have returned too soon from the injury, which he initially suffered after crashing into a wall Tuesday night. David Murphy took his spot in the lineup.

Hopefully nothing serious..he still hasn't found his stroke yet but I'm still feeling good about him, especially since the guy can run..he's going to steal a decent amount of bases.

Oblique injury is never good, especially for a power hitter.....hopefully it won't be a DL stint

Don't worry about Hamilton. He's The Natural. If you don't remember he hit a ball into outer space (thru the lights) with an injury in that world series game a couple years back.

I also had a similar injury. 1 month after it happened I sneezed, it knocked the wind right out of me.
