McCann replacement off FA

Postby uncommonb » Sat Apr 25, 2009 1:48 am

So it looks like McCann's eyes are gonna put him on at least a 15 day DL while he gets Lasik at least. I have narrowed down the available FA for C to: Kurt Suzuki, John Baker, John Buck.

Who do I take and who do Dump to make room for McCann on the DL?

I was in the same situation and went with Suzuki, but Baker wasn't available. He's not flashy but he's consistent and starts more frequently than a lot of catchers, particularly Buck. Baker has more upside and would probably be a better long-term option, but I like Suzuki better as a fill-in.

So I have my options between both of them then....I guess the question is then who should I get rid of on my roster to make room for McCann on DL

Escobar was just put on the 60-day DL so I'd go ahead and drop him, and then put McCann in his slot.

Of those guys, I prefer Baker (and that's who I'm picking up for my own McCann disaster)

Help with mine? viewtopic.php?t=380836
