Big name trade offered to me.....

Postby bballjunkie » Fri Apr 24, 2009 8:23 pm

I get: Wright, Crawford, Oswalt and Lidge

I give: ARam, Sizemore, Haren and Percival

I don't really like it consider Sizemore's start...but wanted a second opinion.

I'm thinking of a Wright and Lidge for ARam and Haren counter. Not sure its enough though..

I like the 2nd deal. If not then I think I would sit still. Though either way it is a fair deal.

I would do that trade. Wright is a clear upgrade over Aramis Ramirez, and Oswalt is a better pitcher than Haren. Lidge is an elite closer, while Percival is not. In fact, Percival has the worst skill set out of any closer in the league at the moment. Take it!

I really just don't think oswalt is any good anymore. Plus, I'm actually in need of power.

No way man, Aram is as consistent as it gets, yes your getting an upgrade in David Wright but its not worth the downgrade from Sizemore to Crawford. Oswalt better than Haren???? I think not. You are getting a huge upgrade in Lidge but I think your gonna end up with the losing end of this deal.

I was going to say do it, until you said you needed power. If you need power, then this trade won't help you with that. I'd pass.
