Is now the time to pick up Phil Hughes?

With the report from the NY Post that CMW is going to the DL and Hughes is the likely replacement, is it time to pick up Hughes and hope he lights the world on fire. His numbers at AAA have been impressive thus far and if he continues that success with the big club they are sure to find a spot for him somehow.

Always depends on who you are dropping for him. Assuming that it is a player like Aviles, then I would say yes. Can't hurt to beat the rush.

I just picked him up and dumped Parra. I would think Sanchez is a better player to hold than Parra, but I could be called a homer.

It is tempting to pick him up, I'm hoping this time we get to see the kid live up to his potential. However, your pitching looks pretty good so I'm not sure it's in your best interest at this time.
