With the report from the NY Post that CMW is going to the DL and Hughes is the likely replacement, is it time to pick up Hughes and hope he lights the world on fire. His numbers at AAA have been impressive thus far and if he continues that success with the big club they are sure to find a spot for him somehow.

I dropped Edwin Jackson for Hughes, I would much rather have Hughes' upside than Jackson's uncertainty

Should I drop Brandon Wood, Oliver Perez, or Edwin Jackson for Hughes?

I'd drop Wood he's not going to do you any good while he's riding the pine in Anaheim.

In the same boat with Hughes. Thinking of picking him up, is he worth a pick up to drop Jonathan Sanchez or Manny Parra? Thanks

I just picked him up and dumped Parra. I would think Sanchez is a better player to hold than Parra, but I could be called a homer.

I'm taking a flyer on him. Still has all the potential. He's only 25?

It is tempting to pick him up, I'm hoping this time we get to see the kid live up to his potential. However, your pitching looks pretty good so I'm not sure it's in your best interest at this time.

Is it worth dropping Purcey for him?
