In a H2H league he has been a nice pickup for me. I don't expect him to be great, but as long as he can pile up QS for a few weeks I will let my big boys at the top carry the load. He has yet to hurt me.

He has always been a good pitcher just unlucky wth injuries,all of you are high on Chris carpenter and guess what how has Carpenter rewarded eveyone this season?

His issues in Atlanta were about his health, not his results on the field. I wouldn't have any problem picking him up for a start here or there. Just don't plan on him giving you 30 starts or anything like that.
