I'm hoping that he comes back and gets a couple saves to up his value, then try to trade him. He still may have potential so I wouldn't drop him yet. I am in a 16 team league though too.
I wouldn't shop/drop him when his value is at it's lowest

What are your league parameters? Depending on the size and depth of your league, Ryan may be worth dropping.
I highly recommend you roster Scott Downs immediately.

agreed... you can't shop him at his lowest low, wait for him to rack a couple saves and then shop... and i don't think you can drop him either unless there is something big on your WW, create a list maybe? i had Scott Downs ranked to take the job sooner or later, but i think once Ryan gets figured out he will be closing again tho...
help me out...

I agree, I feel that Ryan will be given a chance to reclaim his job when he comes off the DL.

Cito Gaston wants to give Ryan the first chance when he gets back, but I have my doubts. His fastball was around 85-87, and he was getting teed off on. Downs has elite skills and Frasor/League aren't far behind.

I just vultured Downs off of my fa wire and Ryan was dropped a day later. I think I may drop Washburn to pick him up when he clears waivers. I'm not wasting my ww priority on him.
