Bye bye Bradley! WHIR!!

Postby dagactor » Fri Apr 24, 2009 2:10 pm

Okay, I'm dropping Milton's stupid a--. Hearing him respond to Pinella saying he'd bat 6th, "Not happening." Enough. Done. He's an idiot.

SO, should I pick up Jacobs (I need some HR + RBI help), Zobrist, Reynolds, Cody Ross, Teahan, OR give Washburn or Wakefield a shot. Thoughts appreciated and reciprocated!

Sorry to say it, but I think you have to hold onto Milton. You knew the fun you were getting into when you drafted him. You just have to ignore it and put up with it. There is value in having his bat in the lineup, but there is a lot of daily checking/tweaking.

If this league has weekly roster updates only, it's more justifiable due to his unpredictability. If it's daily, yeah, you gotta stick with the idiot. I've had him several season, so I know your pain. But I'm more willing to put up with the pain (ie I drafted Chipper very high this year...)

PS Thanks for the help on mine.

Is this a keeper? If not I'd cut Fowler first. I've got Bradley out of my lineup but I'm not cutting him yet.

take a good look at Reynolds...he is crushing the ball as of late....very streaky hitter but he can give you a quiet 30 plus homeruns. i like him...
