Anybody Starting F. Carmona Today? (4/24)

Playing Minny. I really want to pass on him until he puts together a few decent games, but at the same time, my pitching stats for the week look like this (courtesy of Kershaw and Liriano)

WHIP 1.92
QS 0

the only reason I hesitate is because I'm leading in k/9 w/ a 12.19, which I know F. Carmona will destroy w/ a 1-3 K game thru 5 IP.

Personally I would bench until he shows me he can put together a decent low score outing. However, with your current stats you might as well punt those categories and try to win K's at least.

To be honest, I really don't know how you could justify starting him.

However, if you feel you have nothing to lose this week in your pitching cats, go for it.
