with derrek lee getting off to a bit of a slow start and other 1b/3B coming on I am half tempted to drop my beloved cubs firstbasman. this would be a tough trigger to pull since i am a diehard cubs fan. Some of the free agents available are:

I've got Derrek too, and while his overall numbers aren't great, his bat is starting to at least warm a little (yesterday's 0-4 not withstanding)

How big is your league? You might be able to trade him based on his name alone, a much better option than simply dropping him.
