Interesting. I can see why you dont need Tejadam but dont you think you could do a little better? Lee wont come close to 40 hrs as he did a few years ago. 25 seems likely. Tejada is a pretty good hitting SS. Do you think you could nab a better, less risky player from the Tulowitzki owner? ...Just a thought. To answer your question, I would say this is a pretty fair offer. Of course the guy getting Tejada as well will look at this as a win especially if he is need of a SS. You could do a lot worse and perhaps a little better. With that said, I feel it is a safe investment as long as unforseen injuries dont come around.
