Open Roster Spot. Who to Pick Up? WHIR!!

Postby vykeengfan » Fri Apr 24, 2009 10:05 am

12 team yahoo h2h re-draft league. Cats and Roster Below. There's a 25 transaction cap, and I've already used 2. Is there anyone below I should pick up, or should I stand pat for now?
These are some of the the hitters available on the ww:
Stewart
Spilborghs
Murphy
McCutchen
Ishikawa
Zobrist
Wood

Pitchers:
Bailey
Holland
J Washburn
Porcello
Cahill
E Jackson
B Anderson
Purcey

Right now, I'm leaning towards picking up Stewart.
What are your guys' thoughts? Any other suggestions?
Thanks for your input and WHIR!!!

25 transaction cap, wow. i don't even know how to play that kind of thing...

stewart is the best option of the bunch though. i'd pick him up - very nice depth for the bench right now. may even outperform jeter this year, like you said. ;-D

I also like Stewart, but I'm confused, is he SS eligible in your league? I thought he was only 2B/3B eligible.

I'd go stewart as well...
and wow 25 transaction cap. Now that i think about it i'd enjoy that, i get tired of guys who do 4-5 transactions a day sometimes.

Oh man I'm an idiot. Stewart does have 2b/3b eligibility, haha. :-B I was looking at Wood's name when typing it out, lol. :-B :-B Like I said, I still like Stewart over everyone else.

I'm not sure i would make the move then with a 25 cap. If i were you i would stand pat. If you picked up stewart he would sit on the bench. Also if a injury happens you could fill that need. I would wait for someone better to come up or pick up one of those pitchers. Do you have innings cap? My 2 cents
