Wandy R for Chris Davis?

Postby theplayer11 » Fri Apr 24, 2009 7:13 am

We start 6 pitchers and I'm fairly loaded. I could use some power, but concerned with Davis's start..and also with Wandy's great start, makes for a difficult decision.

I'm not a huge fan of Davis, but I like Wandy a lot. You said you are stacked, so I might make the move. Davis is pretty talented and young. I think it is a fair trade all around.

I say move forward with the trade if you have solid pitching.

Oh and 1 more thing....C. Davis has a hit in 6 of the last 7 games. ;-D

Would Volstad for Davis be a better deal for me? I'm not totally up on these NL pitchers.

Is this a keeper league....Davis without a doubt.

I just like davis a lot...not a biased opinion....just a more upside opinion.

If it is Keepers, I would have C. Davis (he is equal as Cruz- 30-40 hr).
Wandy is a good pitcher, but this year will be his prime time- so if it is not Keepers, I would grasp Wandy (for this year).

Also, it depends on the depth of your team (SP or OF).

Would you help mine?

I'd definitely trade either Wandy or Volstad for Davis. You'll have to live with the high K rate (and the frustrating spells), but he makes enough contact to hit 30-35 homers. If you had the choice, you should deal away Volstad especially if Wandy figures it out away from home.
