What are you trying to gain out of this trade? I don't think I would move Davis and Pedroia for Tex....

A solid first round grade keeper and some stabiliy in my infield this season (the combo of zimmy and davis are killing me)

if you can post the rest of your roster we'd be able to give a more informed opinion. especially the part about keepers... how many, for how long, that kind of thing.

here's all i can take away from this so far:

tex is the better keeper
2b is shallow - pedroia is way better than lopez
davis has potential but might never realize it.. selling high on him now wouldn't be a bad idea.

not a bad trade cuz you're getting tex, and lopez happens to be hot right now.

I'd hate to downgrade like that at 2B, but I really like Teixeira as a keeper. In that HR-friendly stadium, with ARod batting behind him, he should be a monster. I expect by this year or next he'll be the 2nd best 1B after Pujols.
