Total insanity. That is veto-worthy. Now if that were Krod/Nathan something like that, you'd have cause for argument.

You accept that deal and run away a winner.

Do you mind posting some FAs in your league?

Well we will see if it gets vetoed, although nothing ever gets vetoed in this league, and there have been some bad ones over the years. I don't think this is as incredibly bad as people are making it out to be... although I agree that I have to accept it. This guy clearly doesn't believe that Holliday is any good outside of Coors. I'm also a little worried that I won't see much return on this. But for Sherrill, how could I not do this trade. He really should have tried for more for him.

Theres really not that much available on waivers. I'll have to wait til later to do that. I can't do it here at work.

Thanks for the advice! I knew I had to accept the trade, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something about Holliday that I hadn't heard. Also, on an offer like that I like to give it a day to give him the chance to change his mind. He had over a day, and he didn't, so I accepted it.

:-o

it's definitely as bad as we are saying - Sherill is a shaky closer and may lose his job to Ray at some point this year - Holliday may not put up Coors numbers, but he did not exactly just lose all his skills overnight either.... make the deal and hope it doesn't get vetoed, but I have 2 questions:

1) Is this a money league?
2) If it is, do you have an extra opening next year for me ? :-°
