Wells isn't enough to get Abreu. Abreu puts up much better numbers. If he accepts, you win. But, he won't accept unless he is asleep at the wheel.

good luck

Kind of strange. Abreu is off to a very very strange start. I believe he leads the entire league in steals.

My team really needed steals post-draft. It was my one weakness. But I've been dominating so far! Abreu gets me like 4 a week, its absurd. He can't possibly keep up this pace, but is 30-35 possible now? I'm wondering if I can swap him into a more sure-fire source of steals but he keeps on running. Its like I have an Ellsbury who hits .350.

30-35 steals from... Bobby Abreu? Impossible. Dude's way too old. He's so old his bat speed is slowing down and his OBP skills are declining.

Well he's got 8 already.. if he gets just 1 a week from here on out (which is about normal for him BEFORE Mike Soscia), he'll have 31. Just saying. Not impossible.

His OBP last 2 years is .370 and he is on a team that likes to run under Scioscia. It is possible he gets 30+ if he stays healthy. He won't steal on pure speed, but knows how to pick his spots. Yes, he's getting up in years(35), but he can still run pretty well. He'll hit .280-.300 score 80-90 runs, knock in 100 or so and hit 15-18 HR. If Vlad comes back healthy, he might score a few more as well.

good luck
