hawpe for capps - WHIR

Postby labardo31 » Thu Apr 23, 2009 7:45 pm

16 team true dynasty league, keep everyone.

I receive Matt Capps, I send Brad Hawpe.

I just dealt away Soria and Ziegler, and only have Lidge left as a closer.

I'm currently working on a deal to net me Matt Kemp and Nelson Cruz. This would give me quite a bit of depth in the OF.

- Kemp, Cruz, Dye, Bruce, Hawpe, Span, Spilborghs,

I'm probably not maximizing my value for him, but does Capps in exchange for Hawpe seem reasonable if Hawpe becomes expendable?

Thanks in advance, leave a link if you'd like an opinion on an issue of your own.

I really like this with all the OF depth you're about to have. It's obvious that you need a closer. Although the Pirates won't win too many games, Capps is lights out when he is in. Go for it!

You have the depth at OF. I foresee 30+ saves this year in capps with good era/whip. i say do it personally. Especially if you can real in kemp.
