My Cain for Hart. Trade help, whir.

Postby kevn77 » Thu Apr 23, 2009 6:13 pm

12 Team roto. Points are touch bases, rbi, runs, obp, sb(half points for sb), era, wins, saves, whip, kd9.

I was offered Corey Hart and Anibal Sanchez(or Trevor Cahill) for my Matt Cain and Adam Lind.
So far I am in 2nd in all pitchin catagories but wins. And I am in dead last in runs, BUT only behind a few places by a run or 2. The guy needs SP help and he probably seen I need runs. Look at my team, do you think I should stand pat and wait for my guys to catch up or get hart to help with the runs and sb. Can I afford to loose cain? Thanks for the help.

One question on your help with mine: did you mean to say Kershaw IS or IS NOT far off from Wainwright? Let me know. Thanks again!

As for yours, I am a big fan of Hart and think he has a huge upside, and I think the difference between him and Lind is much greater than the difference between Sanchez (I would choose because of the teams involved) and Cain, especially since I think Cain will not get the wins he should because pitches for SF (that is already killing me with Lincecum) and I still think his wildness will impact WHIP. Hope this helps.

You definately need speed, but I'm not sure I'd make that trade because you need a bigger stolen base guy...
