Trading R. Martin for pitching

Postby Hank17 » Thu Apr 23, 2009 4:52 pm

I'm in a 9X9 league with 10 teams and I have found myself in need of pitching.
I have been offered his Roy Halladay and Chris Carpenter for my R. Martin and Liriano.

My roster:
C: R. Martin
1B: L. Berkman
2B: Kinsler
3B: Youk
SS: Tulo
OF: Braun
OF: Wells
OF: A. Lind
UTIL: Huff
BN: Vladimir Guerrero, Joe Mauer, M. Derosa.

Pitching: F. Liriano, AJ Burnett, Josh Johnson, Carlos Zambrano, Ted Lilly, Gavin Floyd, Wandy Rodriguez, Scott Baker
RP: BJ Ryan, Matt Capps

Should I accept this trade? or make a counter offer replacing Martin with Mauer?

Thanks for the help

I don't really like it. Halladay is a beast and I'm a huge fan of him but this trade is essentially Liriano (who's not much worse than Halladay) and Martin for Halladay. Carpenter is a non-factor.
