You don't think that maybe I need stronger hitters or some better pitchers and cut some fat off what I got

That looks like a very balanced team on both offense and pitching, good job.

Two things: Nate McLouth should definitely be starting over Hermida, and Tim Wakefield is too prone to getting lit up to keep in a 10-team league. He's a great ML 5th starter because he offers league average pitching and can go deep into games, but that's it. A front two of Shields and Hernandez is good.

Very nice squad, I agree with a previous poster that you should start McClouth and bench Hermida....also you might be lacking in saves with the Cubs using both Marmol and Gregg. Brandon Phillips should start hitting soon also so be patient with him.

I snatched Masterson off the FA in place of Braden. I plan on sitting pretty with Romero, Price, Escobar, and Zimmeran because hopefully when they get out to playing they are gonna kick some ass. Am I screwing myself by gambling a little too much and limiting my active pitching slightly?

I appreciate all the input and am glad to hear such positive remarks about my first fantasy team!

Hmm... not such a fan of Masterson. There's a reason the Red Sox had him in the bullpen to start the season - his sidearming delivery is way more effective against righties. He's not that good otherwise.

And yeah, if all your dudes come up from the DL/get called up you should have great SP depth. You already have 6-7 SPs I'd be comfortable with starting every week, Wakefield being the exception.
