Theriot is sitting on the FA list in my league. Today he is hitting in the 2 hole, and I think he could stay there in the Cubs lineup. He will never hit for power, but good AVE and SB along with a lot of runs. I am not a huge fan of Tejada, espicially with the new revelation about his age. What to do?

This is a tough one...
I think Tejada is solid for SS but there is just something about him I don't like. Maybe its the steroid thing or maybe its his age. I know it doesn't matter fantasy wise but I think if you can stomach him...you should keep him on your team. Theriot is a good one too though and I think he will stay at the 2 spot for the rest of the year.
So...I know I have muddied the waters a bit. I would keep him just the same. Perhaps try to package him in a deal somewhere if you feel you can get value.

you do kind of need theriot's speed and tejada has regressed significantly the past few years. once fukudome cools off, theriot will stay in the 2 hole imo, and his run and RBI totals will increase. and the guy is going to hit .300 for you. i like the move, but i am a HUGE theriot fan so I might be a little blinded. if you wouldn't mind helping me with a trade I'm mulling. it should be on page 3-4 ish. dunn and utley or MO and johan.

I think I move Tejeda for Theriot. Tejeda doesn't have a ton of power any longer, has a pretty empty avg, doesn't score a ton of runs or steal any bases.
At the least if Theriot stays at the 2 hole, he'll steal bases, score runs and should have a 285ish avg.

Tejada is simply mediocre. Theriot will hit around .300, score runs and steal 15 bases...I'd take that over Tejada any day.
