Is it time to kick Verlander to the curb?

Postby BillyHallDisciple » Thu Apr 23, 2009 9:39 am

12-team h2h 6x6 keeper (w/ standard cats + OPS for hitters & K/9 for pitchers)

This guy is killing me right now. I hear he still has velocity, but no confidence. Anyways, he's been lousy and I'm thinking of just ridding myself of the headache.

Would you drop him for any of the following?:

Brad Penny
Kyle Lohse

In the same boat you are, heck I've left him on the bench his last two starts. Probably going to drop him today, there is no evidence that he is going to turn this around. He was dismal most of last year as well.

Give me one good reason not to drop this guy.

I mean, last season was awfull. And i don't see any single sign of him coming back to descent pitching since the start of the season. It seems that he simply doesn't know anymore how to pitch.

I dropped him in one of my league... and that one is a 12 teamers.
