Okay, so I'm currently in 6th place out of 12 in my 5X5 roto league with big rosters (starting MI, CI, 5 OF, 2 C). I was in 11th until a few days ago, when I finally started to get some quality starts. I'm in good shape with R, HR and SB. Middle of the pack in Ks and RBI. Mediocre in W, WHIP and ERA. SV and especially AVG are killing me.
As for the saves, I've got Mariano and Gonzalez, and the Braves aren't giving Gonzo a chance to save anything. My league is very active, and basically everybody who has a decent shot at closing soon (Downs, Soriano, Marmol, etc.) is owned. So I might have to pay for saves, which I hate doing. What do you think?
Now AVG is what's got me worried. I can't decide if I need to make a trade to shore it up or not. I was never going to win AVG with my team, but I'm currently second to last. Of course, Phillips, Beltre, Ianetta and Matsui aren't going to keep hitting sub-.200 forever. When they turn it around, will it be enough to keep me competitive in the category? If I need to make a trade, who should I move and who should I target?
I'll help you out to the best of my abilities. Please leave a link.
