I am 8th in waiver priority in a 16 team HtoH yahoo league, so I may not even end up with him if I do. Do you think he is worth adding over one of my other pitchers or should I see if he clears? Here is my team:
C: John Baker
1B: K. Youkilis
2b: R. Weeks
3b: M. Cabrera
SS: R. Furcal
OF: M. Ramirez
OF: C. Granderson
OF: B. Hawpe
Util: R. Zimmerman
BN: Willy Tavares
Sp: Josh Beckett
Sp: Cliff Lee
Rp: B. Fuentes
Rp: G. Sherill
P: E. Bedard
P: A. Harang
P: J. Weaver
P: S. Marshall
P: Wandy Rodriguez
Bn: Leo Nunez
Bn: Brett Anderson
If anything I would drop either Anderson (pitched one really good game against red sox, one bad and one decent game so far) or Marshall (who I like, but he has had only one start on the season and it wasn't so good).
Note: We count the additional categories of Losses, holds and Hr allowed for pitchers. K's, ops and slg for hitters.

Just becasue a guy has sucked past doesn't mean he doesn't have the potential to improve and get better. Most of the best pitchers started out with bad numbers fyi.

I personally like Davies over Anderson and Marshall. I unfortunately dropped him in my 12 teamer before his TEX start and he was snapped right up. In a 16 teamer I'd guess there's less than 50/50 shot he clears waivers.
I wouldn't use a top 3 or 4 WW priority on him, but I'd be tempted w/the #8....unless you think there's comparable talent on the FA list so you can afford to gamble and see if he clears.
lil help?
