Which prospect would you rather have longterm! Pls comment

Brandon Wood or Brett Wallace

And please tell me why?

Is it clear cut?

To me it seems Wood has more power but Wallace will be the better overall hitter. Perhaps some projections would help.

Its pretty clear for me...Wallace.

Wood has some pop but thats about it. Wallace has a chance to be a solid all around hitter.

Wallace without a doubt. Wood has shown he has difficulty with MLB breaking ball pitching. There don't seem to be any doubts about Wallace in that department.

But what about questions about Wallace's defence & seeming lack of power?

They both have questions, but Wood's have pretty much been answered...as no. Wallace has more time to develop, so I like Wallace.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.

I voted for Wood as I don't Wallace can handle 3B full-time and I know Wood can. With Wallace not at 3B his value goes down a lot. Have you seen his body type?

I'm sorry but his lower body is not typical for any other position than 1B/DH.

I'm not sure that Wood will stick in the majors as a starter so my vote goes to Wallace. And if Woods does he might be Mark Reynolds which doesn't interest me alot. Wallace can rake and I don't care if it's at 1B. But I also think they will force 3B on him and he should have 2-3 yrs of eligibility there.

Yup, I don't care where Wallace plays...he should hit. I wouldn't even get that excited if Wood was going to get some 2B time....I'm not sure he's even a full time player at this point.

In baseball, it is simple, if you can hit you can play, and Wallace can hit. It doesn't matter if he doesn't look like a ballplayer. Who cares if his legs look like tree trunks. If you're that willing to overlook him, I'd be more than happy to pick up someone like Wallace. He'll find a place to play.
