Ok so you're saying people would like his story more if he was a rapist on top of a recovering drug addict? Is that right? Really? :-t :-t

A lot of people can relate to addiction, that's why his story has made him more popular than his baseball skills alone. It's completely different than violence which wouldn't have made anybody go out and buy his jersey. How many people do you see walking around with an OJ Simpson jersey on? Micheal Vick?
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

His story shows that a person with such amazing talent, who can be on top of the world is just as weak as the rest of us.
It makes him have human traits, but in New York for the Derby no one saw the Josh who was an user and abuser, he was a god amongst men on a baseball diamond.

His drugs dont make him who he is, they just bring him down to our level.

I wore a Michael Vick jersey to the first day of classes in '08 ;-D

I made a bet in 2003 that the Devil Rays would win the 2008 World Series. Oh so close.
