So, I'm guessing I'm missing something? I hadn't seen this article until today.

Thus my explanation that I hadn't seen this article until yesterday. So what is the cutoff date on posting older stuff? Just want to sure since the time police is in full force here at the cafe.

Yes, Hamilton's story is an amazing one. I definitely root for him.

Here's the thread about a movie about him - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=350123&hilit=hamilton

And on the 4th page of this thread, the same link as chad provided is posted - viewtopic.php?f=7&t=301317&p=2453865&hilit=http%3A%2F%2Fsports.espn.go.com%2Fmlb%2Fnews%2Fstory%3Fid%3D2926447#p2453865

Imagine how good the Rays would be had he not become a drug addict... :-°

Maybe they would have finished in front of the O's instead of dead last all those years and never got the drafts picks they did.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Strangely it seems like his drug addict past is actually making him more popular. I suppose if he was a recovering rapist and murderer as well then he'd be the #1 overall pick in fantasy drafts and his jersey would be everywhere.

I'm glad he kicked his habit - but he gets no bonus points from me for being a recovering heroin addict.
