NL only blockbuster

Postby BigLebowski » Wed Apr 22, 2009 12:42 pm

NL only 5x5 league. My team needs saves and speed. Would you do this deal?

Webb...I am concerned the injury isn't over.
JJ Hardy

for

Jimmie Rollins
Brian Wilson or Heath Bell

Am I selling too low on Webb? I'm very concerend that I'll get stuck with 8-10 starts from him this year.

If you need saves and steals, this deal is not too bad. Take Bell over Wilson though . . . I don't like Wilson's control.
I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!

I don't know that they will accept the deal. Jimmy Rollins and a closer for JJ Hardy and Webb? The other owner will really need starting pitching to accept this. If you can do it, I say do it; but expect it to be rejected. Take a look at mine if you get a chance:

I'd take the Rollins side, mainly because of the uncertainty of Webb. If you can get Bell instead of Wilson, I think that's all the more reason to do it.

The other guy pretty much accepted the deal. He has closers to burn so in his mind it is Rollins for Hardy and Webb. I think I have to do it to be able to compete this year, I just thought I might be selling WEbb short.
