10 x 10 – Head to Head (standard scoring)
A guy in my league who desperately needs pitching put the slumping Jimmy Rollins (SS) on the block. After offering him Lind & Fuentes for Rollins, he countered with Fuentes & Price for Rollins & Jordan Zimmerman.
I am struggling with this because Rollins is clearly down...but we expect him to come back and be a superstar again, right?
But then again, Price has already proven he's a stud pitcher (end of last year) and it's just a matter of time before they call him up. Long term, he looks like the 2nd coming of Johan Santana.
What would you do? WHIR. Thanks!
Bats
C – Victor Martinez
1B – Ryan Howard

SS – Khalil Greene

Khalil Greene isn't a terrible SS and you don't need Rollins. If i were you, I'd look to move Lind for a stud closer from someone else. Fuentes is your only consistent source of SVs.
Help?

Do this deal. Your bats are clearly your strength, but I think Zimmerman/A-Ram can be used to get a better pitcher. In a 10 team league saves should be available reasonably cheap, especially if you keep on top of the waiver wire.
This doesn't solve your needs at all, but if you get offered two stud bats for a closer and a pitcher who isn't in the major leagues yet, you've got to take it.
Help with mine?

I think you're thinking Ryan Zimmerman. This is just the new Nats SP - Jordan Zimmerman. Does that change your thinking at all?

haha.. sorry. Didn't read closely enough. I was wondering why someone advised you not to do it. Yes, that changes a lot. One thing I will say is that Rollins is overrated IMO so you could flip him for more, but I'm always wary of making a trade in the hopes that making another one will make it work. Try and talk him up from Zimmerman.
