I don't know why reading that made me laugh so hard, perhaps I was thinking of a guy that dropped Oswalt last year... perhaps not, regardless, I'm going to have to steal that... and hopefully that expression is never used to describe me
i generally opt to use the #1 waiver on the first player i think will help my team. i've spent an entire season waiting for someone worthy of burning the number one priority all the while passing up on middle tier guys that would have helped me. i'd rather take someone i think will help now than hope that an owner does something stupid later. who knows, you may end up back at #1 later in the year anyway.

6 team league?
10.
I dont see how Huff can be on the waiver wire, there arent 9 better 3B then him
Wright, Cabrera, Longoria, Arod, Aramis, Youk. Those are the only guys that are clearly better then Huff.
Chipper, Davis, Atkins, Encarnacion, Cantu, Zimmerman, are all in the same category, but Huff is the most consistent to date, and his rbi potential is greater then any listed in this category imo

I hate to be that guy... but if that's the case I'd suggest finding a more competitive league because that's pretty absurd.
