Trade for Holliday or McClouth?

Postby cdawg4343 » Tue Apr 21, 2009 6:38 pm

A guy in my league inquired about a closer and said he's willing to deal either of these guys. Help me put a trade together for one of these guys. He's already traded Carlos Lee for King Felix. 14team 5x5 H2H.
My team:
c. Soto
1b. Howard
2b. Phillips
3b. Reynolds
ss. Jeter
Of. Either, bruce, Markakis, Abreu
B. Wood, Weeks
sp. Sabathia, Billingsley, Lowe, Dice-K, Masterson, Maine, Sanchez, Parra
rp. Rivera, Woods, Corpas, Motte, Perez, Zumaya

His team:
c. Flores
1b. Tex
2b. Cano
ss.Scutaro
3b. Young
Of. Holliday, McClouth, Hunter, Maggs
b. Kubel, Headly, Young, Hill, Bradley, Napoli
sp. King Felix, Danks, Pelfrey, Garza, Looper
rp. Gregg, Frasor

His pitching is thin to say the least. Who should I trade and for which guy? Or should I stay pat?

Only thing I see is to package Bruce with Dice-K for Holliday and if he bites, he is nutso.

What you really need to do is package someone with a closer and go for a 3B upgrade.

Good luck to ya man.

Bruce and either Maine, Sanchez, or Parra for Holliday. Go as a high as DiceK, but don't give up Sabathia, Billingsley, or Lowe unless he's willing to part with Danks or Felix.

Any outfielder you care to part with, plus someone like wood would be a good place to start for holiday. Offer and try to gauge how far you're off, and then move up from there. If he's desperate, you shouldn't have to much trouble coming up with something.

thanks for the help with mine.
