I say no. It's almost worthless because of you having Wieters already. It's only a matter of time until he comes up and you can keep a possible stud in Harang. Maybe as far as trade value goes, you win, but I still don't think it's worth it, UNLESS, you already have another trade for martin lined up.

Its a little biased for me because I dont really like martin in the firs tplace. as you can see from my post, i'm looking to dump martin too. Sure he can be a good catcher but i think harang can really put it together this year. napoli isn't terible either, an di agree you should hold out til weiters comes up to the bigs. I'd say no to this one.

Though I do think you would be getting a good player. I feel you will hurt your SP too much. I would hold off.

i'm not a big fan of martin (or expensive catchers) in general, but i like this deal for you. Maholm strikes me as nothing special and Harang was horrid all of 2008. Even if he were back to the old Harang, Martin is still worth more on the open market. I would make the trade and then see what you can get for martin or wieters when wieters gets called up.
