Rotoworld says he just got called up. Assuming he would slot in at DH, but then again, Napoli might get ABs there too, so I'm not sure he'll be a full everyday player. Thoughts?
I've got Chris Duncan, Nick Swisher, and E. Dukes as hitters on my bench. Pitchers on my bench are Davies, Romero, Sheets, Millwood. Anyone I should drop out of these for Wood?
So thinking more about it, I. Stewart is also available, and I'd be getting one of them to back up my 2B/SS and 3B studs, so how likely is Wood to get regular ABs all season? Since he could lose ABs after Guerrero comes back, is Stewart the better choice?
I picked up Stewart and dropped Sheets. Now I am considering dropping Davies, Millwood, or Romero for Wood so I have a solid backup at every single fielding position. Its also important to note the league only starts 4 pitchers. With that in mind, would F. Hernandez, Verlander, Wainwright, Harden, J Weaver, Volstad, Chris Young, D Price, and two of Romero/Millwood/Davies get me through the season? I am thinking I have enough depth at SP with only 4 starting, and having depth at SS would be more valuable. If so, which should I drop? Romero's overall minor league stats aren't great but apparently he made an adjustment in spring training and once was an upper tier prospect, so there is some reason to believe he could be the real deal. Ditto for Davies. Millwood is old, but I read there are factors that point to him being this year's Cliff Lee. Thoughts?
