i'm tryin to get pujols. my question is:

which SP should i pair with A-rod to have a realistic chance of getting the trade accepted?

So much depends on the other teams needs. First off does he have a replacement 1B? How is he at 3B? SP? You are probably going to overpay just because ARod is hurt and the owner would be taking a risk in trading for ARod before we know how good he will once he returns. You can start with Wainwright or Kershaw but I think it will take more than that. I think in the end it will be better for you to wait for ARod to come back and show what he can do at which point you can get a better deal.

ya, more info is probably needed. the other guy is an ideal trade partner.

has morneau at UTIL, zimmerman at 3B, and a weak pitching corps. also, keep in mind it's a keeper league. i'll eventually want to flip pujols or miggy for wright or longoria since both will only be 1Bs next year, but i'm playin to win this year, and i think this will help.
