I wouldn't give up Bedard. I think he'll have a very good season. But Meche, hell yes. Cliff Lee, maybe.
I love Kershaw this season but think there are bumps ahead. He should definitely keep him ERA in the mid to high 3's, and if his control is improved as it seems to be, should have a WHIP around 1.3.
Start talks with the owner. I for one wouldn't trade Kershaw unless I was getting a stud pitcher in return. The only way is to see what the owner thinks Kershaw's value is. Offer him Meche or Lee but I am betting that it will take more than that to land him.

I am not saying he will end up being a stud pitcher but he has the ability and will eventually become a stud pitcher. It could happen this year or next year but he has the tools. Right now he is pitching like a stud and I for one would not sell short on this guy especially if all I am getting in return is a 3rd or 4th SP. If he had started off slow then I would be willing to deal for less but not when a guy has started like he has so far.

I would not give up Bedard for him but Meche I would.
DO NOT trade Lee for CK. I am not saying that Kershaw will have less value come years end but do not trade a SP coming off a CY when he is beatin' down.
