Drop Winn or Young for Chavez?

Postby michaelyoung4prez » Tue Apr 21, 2009 1:11 pm

SEA is playin well and Endy bats second for them. Chris Young is awful and Winn is less likely to bring the power but more likely to steal and hit for average. Only AVG, RBI, SB, HR counted.

Thanks, leave a link ;-D

Neither. Chavez has no power, which hurts you in both hr and rbi. At best, he'll give you an okay avg (.273 for his career, so even that's dubious) and some steals. Winn should give you almost as many steals with better surrounding numbers, and Young's the only one of the three with pop. Pass.

Stick with what you've got. Chavez is a downgrade from either of those two. I'd see if Ryan Garko's available, he should be getting OF eligibility soon to go with a decent bat.

If you want to pick up a few SB, a few runs, a few RBI and some BA help in the temporary, dump Jackson for him.
