On a straight value basis alone, I would be getting the Ramirez/Meche side, which side has more value for this year alone?

Aramis and Meche for sure. Aramis is a solid, yearly contributor you know what your going to get. He's pretty consistant and will help turn a team into a solid team to a championship caliber team. Myers and Swisher are good and bad (you never know what your going to get).
Plus, this will open a slot for a good prospect or the ability to stream pitchers if your that worried. Or grab that extra MI or OF that you might need.
Can we see your roster (along with some FAs?)
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

Absolutely do it. Beltre is washed up, Swisher's avg will die, and Myers is a homerun machine. ARam and Meche are solid.
