I'm with you. With Laporta already on my roster, it would hurt to see him to suffer at the hands of this latest fashion trend to call up the big guns in AAA and sit them on the bench. The thing I like about Reimold is his ability to both hit, and steal bases while providing homers. Should be interesting, as the Baltimore Sun is reporting that
"I haven't thought that far ahead,'' Trembley said. "It depends on the status of Jones and Scott. If neither one of them are able to play, he'll be in the starting lineup. I'll know more about that tomorrow."
Just in case any of you are wondering, his AAA stats for this year in Norfolk look like this: batting .394 with nine homers, 27 RBIs, and 6 steals in 31 games.
KILA! Great to see him get back on track after a slow start. This guy is a walking (get it) power house! I'd really like to see what he can do at the MLB level for a sustained period.
New article posted on the front page about Future Rookies. It's the third one in the series. Check it out and let me know what else or who else you'd like to see.
I'd like to see
Antonio Bastardo, Alcides Escobar, Gordon Beckham, and Carlos Gonzalez. Even though Beckham and Gonzalez might take awhile to hit the MLB scene this year.
