Konerko Pick him up drop who?? WHIR (REALLY NEED HELP)

Postby daveblotto » Tue Apr 21, 2009 10:29 am

My HR and RBI production has been AWFUL! my team.. AWFUL! I've got a mess at Closer with Hoffman, Perez, Mock, Rodney, Marmol.... rest of my team is

Soto
Howard
Utley
Alexei Ramirez
Chipper, Atkins, Bonifacio
Damon, T.Snider, V.Wells, Adam Jones Vlad (obviously hurt)

Hamels, Webb, Myers, J.Saunders, T.Cahil, Burnett,

Do I pick up Konerko, if so drop who? Perez? I'm not sure what the dam Closer situation in STL is , Mock, I thought he might get a shot. HELP!!!!!

I'd drop Mock or Perez. Franklin is it until he starts to implode.

Alternately, I'd cut bait on Bonafacio.

All three are droppable for Konerko.

I'd drop Perez -- actually Bonifacio looks like a good drop as well if you want to wait to see how the STL closer plays out

Definitely drop Mock. For all the talk of him being the current next in line in that mess we call the Washington Nationals, he's been TERRIBLE in the minors so far this year. I doubt he gets a sniff of the closer job, and if he does, expect some late-night batting practice for the opposing team.

Bonifacio is droppable. I'd hang onto Perez for the time being, myself.

Hoffman, Perez, Mock, Rodney, Marmol

I would drop Mock QUICKLY for Konerko. I'd then move Atkins or Chipper and a RP for a SP and RP upgrade.

Drop Mock for Konerko. As bad as he's looked, Hanrahan still has a grip on the Nats' closing job. Konerko is an easy call to be added.

I think Mock would be behind Beimel as well in terms of closing for the Nats, which isn't really an attractive option anyway. Drop him.
